On Thursday, 09.11.2023 Birgit Keil and Vladimir Klos visited the JCS for the rehearsal from Sonate by Uwe Scholz.
New school year
Last Monday the new school year started at the JCS. We wish all students a good start!
We are on summer vacation
The school is closed from 24th July to 10th September. We will be available again from Monday, 11th September. Arrival boarding school: Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th September from 9am to 4pm.

Student of the John Cranko School wins gold medal at the USA IBC
Alexei Orohovsky, student at the John Cranko School, has won the gold medal in the Junior Male category at the USA International Ballet Competition.
On 1st December 2021, exactly 50 years after the founding of the John Cranko School on 1st December 1971, our anniversary gala took place at the Opera House.

Graduate of the John Cranko School wins the Genée Gold Medal
Alice McArthur, student of Academy B of the John Cranko School has won the Genée Gold Medal of the Margot Fonteyn International Ballet Competition 2021.
Unfortunately, the annual Benefit Matinee "Aktion Weihnachten", which would have taken place on Sunday, 6th December 2020, may not take place due to current Corona regulations. Here are a few impressions of our rehearsals.
